Maths Graduate – Wallasey
Are you a Maths graduate who is looking to pursue a career within the education sector?
Are you a recent graduate or have just graduated this year and are looking to gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting?
A co-educational secondary school with a sixth form in the Wallasey area, Wirral is looking to recruit a Maths subject graduate to work within their Maths department. The successful Maths graduate will be providing vital Maths intervention support to those students in year 7 – year 10. This will be specifically planned as catch up intervention supporting those students who are behind in their learning due to the national closures.
Important points of this Maths graduate position:
- Pay range which equates to GBP65 per day depending on experience, ability and hours required (GBP1300 per month)
- Full time Maths graduate required
- Gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting
- Ideal experience and knowledge gained which would support a future teacher application onto a PGCE for example
The role of the Maths graduate would be supporting students within a classroom setting and assisting lower level students. There is also the possibility of supporting older GCSE level students.
The successful graduate of the Maths faculty would also be supporting students on a 1:1 basis with their Maths work and gain the experience of working in small groups leading your own work and teaching in a small capacity.
This secondary school is situated in Wallasey, Wirral making it very easy to get to for those graduates on public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
