Curriculum Leader for Maths
Location: Raunds, Northamptonshire (NN9)
Pay: £162 - £251pd 
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

About the Role:

This is a key leadership role in a school that is unapologetically ambitious for its students and committed to stripping away unnecessary workload for teachers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a mastery Maths curriculum.

  • Guide and support Maths teachers in planning, teaching, and assessment practices.

  • Analyse data to inform strategy and improve outcomes.

  • Support department-wide collaboration through shared planning time.

  • Mentor and develop staff alongside senior leadership.

  • Foster a learning culture that aligns with the school’s REACH values: Resilience, Empathy, Ambition, Curiosity, and Humanity.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in Maths education or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of mastery teaching approaches.

  • A proven track record of raising attainment in Maths.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • A collaborative, innovative, and resilient mindset.

  • A passion for mathematics and a belief in "Success for All".

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
