Job description

Job Title: Maths and English Qualified Tutor

Location: Leicester

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • - Provide high-quality tutoring in Mathematics and English to students - Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities - Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support - Help students prepare for exams and assessments - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning - Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational best practises

Required Qualifications:

  • - Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Mathematics and English - Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics and English - Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Mathematics and English - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - Additional qualifications in Mathematics and English tutoring or teaching

Experience:

  • - Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics and English

Knowledge and Skills:

  • - In-depth understanding of Mathematics and English concepts and principles - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles - Proficiency in using educational technology and resources - Strong organisational and time-management skills - Patience and empathy towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • - Master's degree in Education or related field - Additional certifications in Mathematics and English education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
