Mathematics teacher required for large Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school in Oldham
Large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the Uppermill region of Oldham require a full time KS3 Mathematics teacher to join their faculty in the new academic year. Due to an increase in intake, the school are wishing to over staff the Maths department to ensure all pupils are given the tools necessary to achieve.
"Our school have a consistently positive attainment in Mathematics and wish to continue with this as we grow as a school. Because of this, we are seeking to appoint a Maths teacher to work specifically with KS3 students on a full time basis from September 2018. It is essential that the successful Maths teacher will be expected to deliver outstanding lessons that challenge all pupils." Head Teacher
- Full time Maths teacher required, September 2018 start
- Teaching only Key Stage Three (Year 7, 8, 9)
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
- Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school, East Oldham
- Located near to the A670 & Public transportation links
The school pride themselves on achieving consistently 'good' and 'outstanding' reviews from inspections, and having a positive Progress 8 Score of 0.04. The successful Maths teacher is expected to demonstrate examples of outstanding practice throughout previous roles and the willingness to become a part of the wider school community.
Located near to the Uppermill region of Oldham, our partner Secondary school can be accessed via the A670. Neighbouring areas Rochdale and Marsden also provide direct routes to the school. For non drivers, there are a number of public transportation links from Oldham town centre.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
