Full time Mathematics teacher required for large faith Secondary school in Salford.

The Governors of a large faith Secondary school in Salford wish to appoint a full time teacher of Mathematics to join their Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school in the new academic year (2018/2019).

This position has arisen due to an emerging gap within the Mathematics department, and the successful full time Mathematics teacher will join the school on a 12 month fixed term post starting in September 2018.

"We wish to appoint a full time teacher of Mathematics to teach students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four from September 2018. This position is a fixed term 12 month post and we are welcoming applications from experienced and newly qualified Mathematics teachers and aim to complete the interview process prior to 1st July. It is essential that the incoming Maths teacher can demonstrate outstanding practice and incorporate our ethos and values into all lessons." Governors

  • Full time Mathematics teacher required, September 2018 start
  • Fixed term 12 month teaching position
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum) *Experience dependent
  • Teaching both KS3 and GCSE with full departmental responsibilities for planning and marking
  • Science teachers of all specialisms (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) welcome to apply

The large faith Secondary school has recently been refurbished through the Salford Schools' Development Programme resulting in larger classrooms and open plan laboratories for engaging Science experiments to take place. The Science department have seen a significant increase in attainment over the last academic year with all students making at least the expected progress in Science in 2017.

Situated in Salford, our client Secondary school has 1,000 pupils on roll at present. The school can be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the M60 Motorways, with a number of public transportation links from neighbouring areas Bolton, Trafford and Leigh.
