*Rapidly improving secondary school in North Manchester
Due to a gap in the Maths department, an opportunity has arisen for the role of a Maths teacher within this catholic secondary school from Easter until the end of the academic year initially. The incoming teacher will be expected to deliver the Maths curriculum across the ability range from KS3 to GCSE.
This large secondary school has roughly 1200 pupils on roll and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Bury, Rochdale and Salford. The number of pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities supported by the school is below the national average. The number of pupils who have a statement of special educational needs or an education, health and care plan is above the national average. Located on the outskirts of North Manchester, the School is easily accessible as it is only a short drive from the M60 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas.
The successful applicant will join a well resourced department and you would be working within a vibrant department where you will be given full support, subject specific CPD opportunities and a friendly teaching environment.
To apply for this excellent opportunity, you will need to email an up to date CV to Nicola Pollitt via the link below or call the Manchester Secondary Branch for further information.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
