Job description

Job Title: Math Teacher

Location: England, Greater London, Croydon

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

 

Job Duties:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students.

2. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the educational needs of the students.

3. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and school administration.

4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student learning and personal development.

5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practises and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Degree in Mathematics or related field

- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Mathematics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
