Male Support Worker - Uxbridge

We have a fantastic opportunity for confident male support workers and learning support assistants looking for a rewarding new role. A special needs day and residential school in Uxbridge for students aged 7 - 19 with severe learning difficulties, complex needs and speech and language disorders are looking to appoint additional staff immediately.

The school offers successful applicants a warm and welcoming school staff team, open discussion on sharing skills and ideas alongside continuous career development and progression with specialist training and School direct programme opportunities.

With a wide range of ages in the school experience supporting both male students and adults with severe learning difficulties and complex needs is highly beneficial. Ideally, experience is vital however, this can be either voluntary or paid and those with genuine passion and enthusiasm to support special needs will also be considered.

Parking is available on school site with local links to buses and train services (Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines)

Role:

• Hours - 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday during school term time to start immediately
• Location - Uxbridge, Hillingdon
• Responsibilities - 1:1 and small group educational, social and developmental support of students with complex learning needs, severe learning difficulties and speech disorders
• Additional responsibilities - personal care/toilet training support or moving and handling support
