Male PE Teacher Required South Wales

The School is an English-medium 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in the Neath area. It has over 1100 students and received a 'good' rating by estyn last year with expectations to receive excellent in their next inspection.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in a school where pupils behave very well and have positive attitudes to their learning Many pupils are active and effective in a range of leadership roles and in community and charity events The quality of care, support and guidance is considered outstanding by Estyn and pupils, staff and governors share suitably high expectations of themselves and each other.

This roles offers;

-pay £450 - £650 a week

-excellent management procedures and behaviour management systems in place

-regular training and CPD opportunities provided throughout the year

-online resources and diary

-an opportunity to deliver lessons to a diverse group of students

- an opportunity to work with and receive ongoing support from the largest education recruitment agency in the UK

Suitable candidates will have the following:

• QTS (NQTs very welcome) and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Experience of teaching Physical Education in a school environment.
• The ability to deliver creative and stimulating lessons that motivate students.
• The ability to build a good rapport with pupils and staff.
• Two up-to-date referees that will be able to comment on your teaching ability.
• An enhanced DBS with registration through the update service. If not in receipt of a DBS (we can help you with this)
• Experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
