Lunchtime Supervisor – Primary Schools | Sheffield & Barnsley | Immediate Start

We’re looking for friendly and reliable Lunchtime Supervisors to join our team in primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s wellbeing during the school day.

Location: Sheffield & Barnsley

Start Date: Immediate

⏰ Hours: Part-time (term-time only, typically 12:00 – 1:30 pm)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and around school during lunch
• Encourage positive play and social interaction
• Ensure a safe and happy lunchtime environment
• Support pupils with meals and promote healthy eating
• Handle minor incidents and report concerns to senior staff

✅ Requirements:

• Experience working with children (school setting preferred)
• Friendly, patient, and approachable manner
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
