About The Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with complex learning needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical disabilities. We are seeking Lunchtime Learning Support Assistants to support students' during lunch time in the dinner hall, outside in the playground and in class. This is an ideal role for those who have a warm and friendly nature, whilst having a calm and patient approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help to support lunchtime and teaching activities, which may involve personal care, feeding, toileting, and playing with students during 12pm – 1:30pm
- Encouraging independence and promoting positive behaviour
- Working collaboratively with the wider staff team and families
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school, care, or support setting) NOT ESSENTIAL
- Comfortable and confident in supporting personal care
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to working with vulnerable students
- Enhanced Child only DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
- Availability for work Monday to Friday, term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
