About the Role:

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of students with complex learning needs, including autism, communication challenges, and physical disabilities?

We are currently seeking Lunchtime Learning Support Assistants to join our team. You’ll support students during lunch – in the dining hall, on the playground, and in classrooms – helping to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a warm, friendly nature and a calm, patient approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students during lunchtime activities, including feeding, toileting, personal care, and play (up to 4 hours per day)

  • Encourage independence and positive behaviour

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and families to support student wellbeing

  • Flexible working hours available

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is beneficial, but not essential

  • Comfortable providing personal care support

  • A nurturing, patient, and resilient attitude

  • Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Availability Monday to Friday during term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
