Learning Support Assistant -- Hillingdon, London -- Easter Start

A number of good and outstanding schools across London are recruiting for intervention specialist to support staff in Primary schools.

This role is likely to begin in Easter, when schools plan to return.

This role would be ideal for trainee teachers or support workers, with a strong background in either Maths, Science and English, with GCSE experience. The nature of the role will involve working with small groups tracking progress to build curriculum knowledge to help pupils achieve top results. With the current global situation, it's important to make sure students retain the knowledge learnt over the last few months.

Due to the nature of the role the successful applicant must be able to undertake and provide a clear enhanced DBS check and satisfactory referencing.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Must hold (or be willing to purchase) a DBS on the Update Service
• Develop and organise resources and school board displays to promote learning to support the class teacher
• Willing to take any CPD needed to excel within the role as a successful practitioner
• Having worked in a similar setting may be an advantage
• Must have strong behaviour management strategies and ability to work with a variety of pupils
