We are seeking a passionate and motivated Newly Qualified Teacher to join a welcoming SEN school in Penarth. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your teaching skills within a supportive environment, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience supporting pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

You will play a key role in helping learners achieve their full potential while developing the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to thrive in your teaching career.

The Role

• As part of our dedicated team, you will:
• Deliver engaging lessons and targeted interventions for pupils from EYFS through to KS5.
• Support learners with complex needs, helping to develop their confidence, communication skills, emotional wellbeing, and independence.
• Use creative, multi-sensory teaching approaches tailored to individual learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with specialist staff and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
• Monitor progress, assess learning, and provide regular feedback to parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can learn and succeed.

✔ An understanding of SEN/ALN and how to adapt learning to meet individual needs.

✔ A positive, resilient, and enthusiastic attitude.

✔ Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.

✔ A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
