Life Skills Tutor

Life Skills Tutor needed for school supporting those with moderate learning difficulties.

Are you someone who's good with finances? Handy in the Kitchen? Prioritises household management?

We are  looking for someone who can tutor small groups of secondary age students to learn basic life skills which will support their independence in life, and help them to become a more confident individual.
Students study a holistic curriculum which gives them valuable skills to live comfortably, such as cooking, hygiene, household cleaning and duties, finance management, social skills and more.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of supporting or delivering sessions in these areas, from a Social Care or Education based background.
Tutoring or Teaching experience is essential.
Ideally you should have experience in working with special needs in some capacity.

Your working hours are yet to be identified due to changes in educational circumstances, however, generally hours are from 8.30am-4pm with additional duties outside of hours to be expected.
