Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an energetic Teaching assistant to work in a Primary school in the Newport area. The successful candidate will be working within a Key Stage 2 classroom. The role would require the candidate to work on a small group basis in a mainstream setting, whilst also providing 1-1 intervention outside the classroom on a timetable basis when required. Experience in working with pupils with Challenging Behaviour is preferential although not essential. The willingness to assist in extra curricular activities is also advantageous.

Progression is available to the right candidate who possesses the attributes and qualities to be successful within the school.

In order to be suitable for this role you will need;

• To have previous experience working with children
• Child Workforce DBS on the update service
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council
• 2x Successful References
• Level 3 trained
