A 2 form entry primary school located in the Bury (BL9) area is looking to appoint a Level 3 teaching assistant to work in the Year 3 class room as a general teaching assistant.The role will include general support within the classroom in the morning time and leading 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils to raise attainment in the afternoon who are underachieving.

A successful candidate should:

• Have a Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• Have a patient and nurturing personality
• Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
• Be pro-active in the class room

The school works closely with all of its pupils and staff to create a positive learning environment and is proud of its strong links with the community.
