Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Bury (BL9) primary school

A 2 form entry primary school located in the Bury (BL9) area is looking to appoint a Level 3 teaching assistant to work in the Year 3 class room as a general teaching assistant.The role will include general support within the classroom in the morning time and leading 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils to raise attainment in the afternoon who are underachieving.

  • ÂŁ270 - ÂŁ300 a week

A successful candidate should:

  • Have a Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Have a patient and nurturing personality
  • Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
  • Be pro-active in the class room

This Bury (BL9) based primary school has recently been graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The school works closely with all of its pupils and staff to create a positive learning environment and is proud of its strong links with the community. The school also has a large percentage of pupils who speak English as an additional language so working with children with additional needs is desirable.

The school celebrates diversity and difference and nurtures children's academic, emotional and spiritual growth and the Head teacher is looking for a teaching who can support and promote the schools strong ethos.
