Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job description

A Nursery school on the outskirts of the town centre of Kingston have approached Teaching Personnel in order to short-list and appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis to work in the ‘high performing’ Nursery unit attached to the school. The role will be to work from January 2020 until the end of the academic year (July finish). The role will be working from 8:30 – 3.45pm.

It is essential to have the following in order to apply for the role;

Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools.

Experience working alongside the EYFS Curriculum.

Recent school based experience (preferably in the last three months).

Early Reading and Phonics experience.

The ability to use your initiative and complete roles in the classroom with ease with little instruction.

Available to complete the role with the potential to go onto a school contract.

The school is located outside the centre of Kingston and is commutable by train bus and car, with it being on a bus route and within distance of the inner ring road. The school is graded GOOD by Ofsted and the behaviour of pupils in the school is also GOOD. The Head teacher is keen to move learning forward and make good progress. The majority of children who attend school come from a mixture of backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
