We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to support a number of Primary schools across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Specifically, we require a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support with casual day to day cover and support in primary schools across Sheffield and Chesterfield. This role requires a flexible and adaptable individual, who is eager to experience working across a variety of different school settings.

Responsibilities of a Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Working alongside the class teacher to ensure pupils are focusing and on-track during lessons
• Leading 1:1 and intervention group sessions with pupils who are both under-achieving and high-achieving
• Act as a positive role model school wide and provide support in other year groups when necessary
• Providing general support in marking/setting homework, creating displays and preparing lesson resources.
