Salary: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Windsor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed TA to support children’s learning and development in a nurturing school environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children, a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), and a genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

• Work with small groups or 1:1 with pupils, including those with SEND

• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments

• Help pupils stay engaged, on task, and supported emotionally and academically

• Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress

• Support with classroom displays, resource preparation, and general administrative tasks

• Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes when required

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) – essential

• Previous experience working in a school or early years setting

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
