Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Windsor
Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Long-Term
Salary: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Windsor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed TA to support children’s learning and development in a nurturing school environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children, a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), and a genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils thrive.
Key Responsibilities

Support the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

Work with small groups or 1:1 with pupils, including those with SEND
-
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments
-
Help pupils stay engaged, on task, and supported emotionally and academically
-
Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress

Support with classroom displays, resource preparation, and general administrative tasks
-
Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes when required
Requirements
-
Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) – essential

Previous experience working in a school or early years setting
-
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
