About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties.

• Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of tailored learning activities.

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

• Promote inclusion, independence, and confidence in every pupil you support.

• Use your expertise and creativity to adapt resources and strategies to suit different learning styles.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has substantial experience working as a SEN TA, ideally in both mainstream and specialist settings.

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies.

• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with pupils, staff, and parents.

• Is patient, resilient, and genuinely committed to making a positive difference.

• Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential with strong experience.
