Job description
Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) TA to join our supportive team at a thriving school in Slough.
About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties.
-
Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of tailored learning activities.
-
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
-
Promote inclusion, independence, and confidence in every pupil you support.
-
Use your expertise and creativity to adapt resources and strategies to suit different learning styles.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
-
Has substantial experience working as a SEN TA, ideally in both mainstream and specialist settings.
-
Demonstrates strong knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies.
-
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with pupils, staff, and parents.
-
Is patient, resilient, and genuinely committed to making a positive difference.
-
Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential with strong experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
