Level2 Teaching Assistant
Manchester

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, passionate Teaching Assistant to join our client schools enthusiastic team. The post is available for a September 2019 start.

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and C and above in GCSE English and Maths required
  • Full time role, term time only
  • £275 - £350 per week
  • Introduction to a successful and welcoming secondary school in Manchester

Due to an upcoming vacancy, Teaching Personnel are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our client school. The post holder will join our client schools inclusion team, working under the supervision and direct guidance of the Head of Inclusion/SENCO. As a Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Implement structured learning programmes for students with an EHCP and other students within the Inclusion Department
  • Provide support to a range of teaching and learning activities in school
  • Provide support for individual students and groups of students in specific areas of the curriculum

Our client school is the local secondary provider of choice and is located a short drive from the vibrant city centre. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, they were judged to be a 'Good' school with many 'Outstanding' features. The school recently invested in a brand new state-of-the-art building to accommodate their growing student population and as a result, has excellent facilities throughout.

The school is located in South Manchester, easily accessible via Metro links from the city centre and public bus routes. The school also has a large free car park for all staff members.
