Learning Support Practitioner Scarborough

Teaching Personnel is a leading education recruitment agency, supporting schools, colleges and alternative provisions with their staffing needs.

We are currently looking to increase our pool of Learning Support Assistants in the Scarborough area and are looking for people who can help individuals with EHCPs in place, to achieve their own positive outcomes.

The positions we can offer to you include to provide support to individuals who are on the Autistic Spectrum, have learning disabilities, mental health problems and speech, language and communication needs. If you have a specific interest in any of these areas then please let Kerry at Teaching Personnel know as soon as possible!

The Schools we support cater for students unable to access mainstream education, have been excluded from mainstream school or are attending an SEN provision due to having an EHCP in place. For these reasons, we are looking for Learning Supports who are pro-active, determined and resilient to work with students.

Ideally you will be available for 5 days a week, in order to provide continuity for pupils. You will be joining an experienced and committed Education Recruitment Agency, who will support you throughout your placements and will offer additional training to help you up skill, if needed.
No experience is necessary, as life gives you a lot of the skills you need, and the ones you don't have can be learnt on the job!
