Teaching Personnel are currently working on a number of positions in the Plymouth area. The roles are working with children and young people removed from education and supporting their education.

The roles are working with pupils on a 1:1 basis supporting them on and off site. The roles are varied and require different activities to be conducted that is set suited to their needs and abilities. A lot of the role is acting as a positive role model for the pupil and ensuring positive approaches towards every task.

You must be able to drive with access to your own vehicle.

The roles are working from 8:30-3:30 5 days a week. The roles are working during term time only.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children and young people in or out of education. This will need to be displayed clearly on your CV, with dates of when you worked.

To work with teaching personnel you need a minimum of Grade C in GCSE English, Maths and Science or equivalent. If you have other qualifications such as: Team Teach, MAPA, BTEC Sports, sporting qualifications or behaviour management support then this will strengthen your application.

A DBS in child workforce is required for this role, which we request to be on the update service. If you do not have a current DBS then we can support you through the process.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
