A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and making a genuine impact in the classroom.

Working across KS1 and KS2, you will support pupils both in class and through targeted interventions, helping to build confidence, engagement and academic progress.

The Role

• Supporting class teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting children with additional learning, behavioural or social needs
• Supporting literacy and numeracy interventions
• Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and participation
• Creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Working closely with teaching staff and parents to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Experience supporting SEN pupils would be advantageous
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential
