Learning Support Assistant

Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time temporary basis.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will support students both one-to-one in class and with small groups outside of the classroom. They will work within the school’s SEN provision. They will establish supportive and motivation relationships with students to help them engage in activities led by teachers.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have previous experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs in an educational setting.  They will have a positive approach and will have the ability to motivate students, acting as a positive role model for individuals and groups of students.

This large vibrant secondary school located in the heart of the city centre. The school is an inclusive multi-faith and multi-cultural learning environment with over 1000 pupils on roll. The school is located just a short drive from the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
