Teaching personnel is the UK's leading education recruitment agency who provide ECTs, Teachers, Tutors, TAs and support staff, into Mainstream and SEND schools across the UK!
This particular school is a non-maintained special school catering for young people with Social Emotional and Mental Heath difficulties. The children are between the ages of 8-18 years old and they have a very therapeutic approach to care, using Art, Music, Speech and Language Therapy and Clinical Psychology.
About the role:
- You will need to have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient-this role can be very hard work, but also very rewarding!
- Experience working within an SEND/SEMH setting or a care setting would be ideal
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills (A-C Grade) GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Fantastic communication skills- the ability to build up a rapport with both parents and pupils
- Mon-Fri
- 08:30-15:30
- Term Time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
