Teaching Personnel Cornwall are seeking enthusiastic learning mentors to work with primary aged children in the St Austell area. If you have a background in teaching, support work, youth work, coaching or any other child and education related role, please read on!
The role is to support pupils as a Teaching Assistant on a 1:1 basis with their school work but also social engagement and well-being. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:15pm, term time only and to start in December 2019.
If you have a Child Workforce on the DBS there is immediate work available.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally a full, clean driving licence with access to a car to use daily.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the setting to enhance their learning and support their welfare
- Must have experience of working with young people and will have had experience of working within the education or healthcare sector and with multi-agencies.
- Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.
- Behaviour management training- MAPA or Team Teach would be advantageous.
