Learning Support Assistant

Job description

An Academy in Kingswood is looking for an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to support two female pupils in Key Stage 4 who are struggling to cope with classes.

Ideally you will need SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) experience or have dealt with challenging youths or adolescents. However, this is not essential. If you have the right character, resolve and confidence, you could still be considered.

This is a larger than average school which is in a suburban area. You will be provided with guidance and support from the SENCO.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
