Learning Support Role in Sale (M33)
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a SEM Secondary school in the Sale area of Trafford (M33), looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work children in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The school are looking for a passionate and creative Learning Support Assistant who has experience working with SEN and learning difficulties.
You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the school. You will join their vision of high expectations of achievement and behaviour and offer a nurturing and supportive ethos, celebrating differences and ensuring that everyone meets their full potential.
To be considered for this role you will need then to-
-
Provide support for pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.

Assist with the development and implementation of education or behaviour plans
-
Establish trusted relationships with pupils and work with them on an individual needs basis.

Promote the inclusion of all pupils in the classroom
-
Encourage pupils to interact in classroom learning and with their peers
-
Promote self confidence and set individual tailored goals and challenges
-
Be Team Teach trained or willing to complete the course

Have experience in care/ school based settings
The Sale School is a provision with over half of pupils eligible for pupil premium (additional government funding) which is well above average. The school has a wonderful atmosphere with a supportive team behind it. For candidates who apply for this role they need to be ideally team teach trained or will be willing to complete the course. The school has a diverse range of pupils from all backgrounds, including those with Autism, ADHD and other moderate learning difficulties.
