Learning Support Assistant

Job Description: We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (TA's) to join our team in Manchester. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work either 1:1 or in a small group setting with pupils who have learning disabilities or SEN requirements. You will be responsible for supporting children with physical disabilities, mild to severe learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, complex social and emotional needs, and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to children with learning disabilities or SEN requirements
- Assist with daily tasks and activities, including personal care if required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the relevant staff
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Qualifications and Experience: We welcome applications from candidates with a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children. Previous experience working with children, either in a nursery setting or as a support worker or care assistant, would be advantageous but not essential. We have both full-time and part-time positions available, with the potential for temp-to-perm opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
