A Manchester secondary school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated academic and pastoral support to students with additional learning needs. The role involves working closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop confidence in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs) such as ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia.
• Assist in delivering tailored interventions to help students meet their academic targets.
• Work closely with teachers to provide differentiated learning materials and strategies.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to ensure students feel safe and included in the classroom.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience in a school, care, or support role (previous experience with SEN is desirable).
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A background in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field is advantageous.
