An Academy in Kingswood is looking for an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to support two female pupils in Key Stage 4 who are struggling to cope with classes.
Ideally you will need SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) experience or have dealt with challenging youths or adolescents. However, this is not essential. If you have the right character, resolve and confidence, you could still be considered.
This is a larger than average school which is in a suburban area. You will be provided with guidance and support from the SENCO.
The role is full-time and will start immediately after half-term. If this is something you are interested in please get in touch immediately. I look forward to hearing from you.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
