Teaching Personnel is looking for compassionate, resilient and driven individuals to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). You don't necessarily need classroom experience. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, remain calm under pressure and help others reach their potential.

Whether you've worked in care, support work, youth work, coaching, residential settings, healthcare, customer service, mentoring or another people-focused role, your experience could be exactly what a pupil needs to succeed.

This isn't a role where you'll simply supervise. You'll become a trusted adult, a positive role model and a key part of a young person's educational journey.

The Role

You'll support pupils with a variety of additional learning needs, which may include:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties

Working alongside teachers and support staff, you'll:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support.
• Help pupils engage with learning and develop confidence.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Build meaningful relationships with pupils who may struggle to trust adults.
• Encourage communication, independence and social development.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
