Pay Rate: From £172.98 per day (paid to scale for longer term assignments)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

We’re excited to be recruiting a vibrant, dedicated, and adaptable Secondary Cover Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner secondary schools in the Newport area. In this role, you’ll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to support Key Stage 5 depending on your subject expertise. You will help maintain continuity of learning by delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

If you don’t yet have all the necessary documentation, Teaching Personnel can support you in obtaining:

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Level 2 Safeguarding training
• Minimum two recent professional references covering 24 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
