Learning Support Assistant (SEN Secondary Schools)

Location: Dibden area
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Flexible working – Full-time or Part-time
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to work in SEN secondary schools across the Dibden area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people with additional needs while benefiting from flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

  • Assist students with learning, emotional regulation, and social development

  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored support

  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Support students with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring, patient, and resilient attitude

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

  • A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
