Learning Support Assistant Needed – Year 4 – Bispham
Start Date: After the May Break
Location: Bispham, Lancashire
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
Position Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Year Group: Year 4
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bispham, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 4. This role is to begin immediately after the May half-term break and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with potential to continue in September for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing consistent 1:1 support to a child in Year 4 with specific learning needs

Supporting their access to the curriculum both in and out of the classroom

Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities

Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have prior experience supporting children in a school or SEN setting
-
Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable to individual needs
-
Show a genuine passion for making a difference in a child’s learning journey
-
Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
