About the Role:
One of our lovely primary schools based in Alton is looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated LSA to work alongside the Year R – 6 teams to support a variety of children with different learning abilities and needs.
Start Date: October/November 2026
Salary: £92.63 a day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday (part time)
To be considered you must obtain an enhanced child only DBS and complete additional vetting checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individual pupil/s inside and out of the classroom
- Assisting with classroom activities and resources
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs to develop emotional and academically
- Assisting with organising and tidying the classroom when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with primary children (KS1 – KS2)
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience supporting SEN children is desired but not essential
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow
- Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles (CPD training provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
