Job description

A special needs school in Enfield is currently seeking an additional Learning support assistant to begin after half term with a desire to support students with special educational needs. The school cater to students with a wide range of complex needs from the ages of 7-19 years old.

The school are looking for a Learning support assistant that has the confidence to interact with students with a statement of special educational needs and is able to use their own initiative when needed.

For this position the ideal applicant would have previous experience supporting students with special educational needs in either a school or youth setting or drama club.

Job attributes:

  • Previous experience working with children with a statement of Special needs
  • Degree in Drama/Art/Sociology/Psychology
  • Desire to support students with special educational needs
  • Engaging/proactive/able to use initiative
  • Commit to 8:15am - 3:45pm
