Learning mentor - Oldham

A Specialist Setting located in Oldham are currently looking to recruit multiple learning mentors who are able to start immediately after Easter. These positions would be ideal for recent graduates who display a clear passion for supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. If you are a recent graduate who is looking to gain valuable experience to support an application for Teacher training this role could be perfect for you.

The Setting is based in Oldham and caters for pupils with a variety needs including those with: very profound learning difficulties, behavioural needs and those with SEMH needs. This role will involve working directly with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour so applicants will require high levels of emotional and physical resilience.

As a Learning Mentor your roles and responsibilities will include:

- Providing direct support to pupils with additional needs

- Supporting class Teachers as and where directed

- Providing specialist intervention to support the development of pupils with additional needs
