Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Grimsby catering for students displaying challenging behaviour.

Our client school are part of a large national multi academy trust who have a a network of unique and diverse academies. They pride themselves on broadening horizons of their students by developing confident and caring members of the community who learn to take responsibility for themselves.

This particular school is ideally looking for a TA who is experienced at working with young people who have various Special Educational Needs such as:

-Autism

-ADHD

-Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

-Learning Difficulties

- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs

The Teaching Assistant should have knowledge and understanding of:

-the needs of young children;

-child development and the ways in which children learn;

-the roles played by various adults in a child's education;
