One to One Tutor – Mansfield – Immediate Start   

Teaching Personnel are looking for a 1:1 tutor to teach a vulnerable student, in person, in the Derby City area. The student is in KS4, but working below age related expectations. The student has Autism, as well as ADHD and displays some challenging behaviour. We are looking to find an experienced teacher who has previously worked with children with special educational needs.

The tutor will be expected to cover Core Subjects (English, Maths and Science), as well as French, Geography, RE and Business Studies. Currently the student is working below a pass grade.

Role Overview:

  • Start ASAP 
  • Tutor KS4 cross curricular
  • GBP20-GBP25 per hour
  • Tutor in the home
  • 15 hours a week, split evenly over 5 days

Essential Qualifications and Traits:

  • Hold QTS/NQT status or an alternative equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work 
  • To be energetic and have a passion to teach
  • Experience working with ASC/Autism
  • Be willing to plan and provide own resources

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
