Are you an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant?

Are you looking for a full time role?

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a Trafford Primary school in Sale, M33 area. The School is looking to employ a Teaching Assistant (TA) for their year 5 classes to work on a full time basis starting as soon as possible. The role will be for the rest of the academic year with the potential of being taken onto a school based contract.

This 1 form entry Primary School is looking to end the academic year as strongly as they started it and is always looking to build on their current progress the school has made. The school is well ran from the top to the bottom and all the staff are extremely supportive so there will be plenty of help from staff in order to succeed. The school was graded "GOOD" in their latest OFSTED report and has said to have excellent behaviour throughout the school and pupils that all like to learn and discuss what they have learnt on a daily basis.

The role will involve supporting different types of pupils in the class from the lower achieving to the higher achieving and will also involve some group work. The groups will be from 5/6 pupils at a time and will involve taking the groups out of the class room to do some Writing, Reading and Maths work in a more focused environment. The groups will sometimes be the lower achieving and occasionally the higher achieving to maintain their current high standards and to try and kick on even more as they prepare to enter their SATs year next September.

The role will be a temporary contract but does have the opportunity to turn permanent in September should the school and the Teaching Assistant be the right fit.
