Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant – September 2025 Start

Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience in Key Stage 2? We’re currently recruiting for full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant roles in inclusive and nurturing primary schools across the Skelmersdale area, starting in September 2025.
About the Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide academic and emotional support to children. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning

Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management

Helping children reach their academic and personal development goals

Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience supporting children in a KS2 setting
-
A solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

A compassionate, professional, and enthusiastic approach
