KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Preston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm
Pay: £13.75 per hour

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
You’ll be working within the Key Stage 1 team, providing essential classroom support to the teacher and children. Your role will include supporting learning activities, helping manage behaviour, and encouraging positive social interaction to create a nurturing and productive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in KS1 is desirable, but not essential
- You must have experience working with or supporting children in a professional or voluntary capacity (e.g., in schools, nurseries, youth work, etc.)
- A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping young learners succeed
This is a long-term, full-time position with an immediate or flexible start date for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
