An exciting opportunity has arisen for a KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and dedicated team within a Wigston based Primary School. This is a immensely rewarding and the post will suit professional individuals who are prepared to work flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive environment.
This role will be covering a mixed year 5/6 class with only 20 children due to the year group splitting in the mornings to provide additional SATS preperation in the spring and summer term. The afternoons will be spent either class teaching or taking individual intervention sessions.
Experience
Successful candidates are likely to have a good working knowledge of SATs preparation and will be a qualified teacher. A willingness to undertake further training as appropriate is essential.
The applicant must:
- have proven experience in teaching Key Stage Two,
- have a track record of excellence in their classroom practice;
- be able to evidence classroom management skills;
- have a proven ability to work as part of a team;
- maintain, form and develop strong professional relationships within our learning community;
- show a high level of commitment to, and enthusiasm for, the role;
- have energy, flexibility and drive;
- have high expectations for themselves and their pupils
