Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school in LS14
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic class teacher to work in our happy and successful school.
The post is temporary to cover maternity leave from April 2019 to 3rd April 2020. The working hours will be Wednesday afternoons and all day Thursday and Friday, intially teaching a Yr5 class until the end of summer.
We would welcome applications from teachers who demonstrate excellent teaching and learning skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to team and collaborative working. NQT's are welcome to apply.
We are looking for a highly motivated, caring and committed teacher who has the ability to:
* Demonstrate excellent teaching in KS2 with very high expectations of
achievement, attainment and behaviour.
* Inspire children to learn in all areas of our creative curriculum.
* Demonstrate excellent understanding of assessment for learning.
* Take on a role in developing or leading a subject area.
* Work flexibly, closely and collaboratively with colleagues in our
friendly, hardworking staff team.
* Have a creative, positive outlook and flexible approach to all aspects of
school life.
The hours will be part time.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
