KS2 Teacher Required

  • Full time fixed term contract

  • Larger than average sized Primary School
  • Salary (£23,720 - £35,008)
  • Suitable for Newly Qualified or Experienced Teachers

Are you experienced working across KS2? Do you have a real passion to make a difference in pupils learning?

If so a larger than average, friendly primary school serving many disadvantaged families, is currently looking to appoint a KS2 teacher to join their passionate, inspiring and supportive team, starting in September on a temporary basis for a year, with the possibility of going permanent for the right person. The school aims to develop the talents and potential of each individual child in a safe, secure and happy environment. The school is showing rapid improvements and the Headteacher is passionate about ensuring that all pupils are supported and provided with the skills that they need in order to achieve their full potential as describe by Ofsted. The school has recently been graded as Good and so is keen to appoint someone who is able to continue to help drive high standards and expectations throughout out school, with a real passion to make a difference to pupils learning.

The school is located in the Standish area of Wigan, therefore can be easily accessed by Wigan, Preston, Skemersdale and Bolton.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner; keen to learn and achieve the highest standards
  • Demonstrate a range of positive strategies to engage and motivate pupils
  • Keen to develop relationships with all stakeholders to benefit pupils
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be committed to promoting excellence in every aspect of school life
  • Be keen to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
  • This post is suitable for a newly-qualified or experienced teacher.
