KS2 Teacher Required for SATS Boosters

A qualified KS2 Teacher is required to help with SATS Boosters in a school in Houghton-Le-Spring.

The school want an experienced and reliable KS2 Teacher with experience of the SATS period to help the pupils with their SATS preparations. The successful candidate will be expected to take small groups of the class out at a time for interventions and guidance with their SATS preparations. The role will also involve taking part in practice exams to prepare them more for the real thing.

The school is a small but 'good' graded school in the heart of Houghton-le-Spring. The School has good transport links if you are travelling by public transport. If you are driving the school has a large car park for staff and visitors that is free.

• Must undertake the planning, teaching and assessment of all SATS subjects
• Experience in SATS preparation is preferred

In order to apply you must:

• Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
• Relevant experience teaching in primary schools
• Up to date on the primary curriculum
• Be able to provide 2 good references (2 from educational preferably)
• Valid DABS
